Trying to do too many things at once is something that I still catch myself doing. This year I wanted to do more writing, learn as much about photography as possible, have a successful year with the business, and also become a Trustee on a Charitable Trust my friend Christine has started. 

That list might sound doable, but I just couldn’t keep up. For that reason I’ve decided to cut the writing (apart from snippets like this), and focus more on learning photography. As such this site is going to become a record of my photography escapades.

So who better to start with than Fiona? This is one of my favourites from a shoot we did back in April.

Tick Tock, Look Away Clock.

There’s a few reasons I love the weekend but over and above all it’s the fact that they’re so damn simple. Take my Saturday for an example; it included rock climbing, swimming, sauna, spa, some gaming (Batman: Arkham Asylum), plus lunch and dinner ($7 Long Island Ice Teas at Good Brothers rocks) with some great friends. But the best part of all is, I didn’t have to look at my watch or calendar once — and that, feels amazing.
